Self-leveling Materials with automatic leveling or slightly assisted leveling function, dry mixed powder materials consisting of a variety of active ingredients, which are composed of cement, sand, fillers, and modified by a range of additives, such as cellulose ether, plasticizer, defoamer, stabilizer, and redispersible emulsion powder.
Cellulose ethers have excellent water retention capabilities, enabling them to function effectively in a variety of building materials. Its water holding capacity improves the workability, adhesion and consistency of the mixture.
1. Enhance mobility and operability.
Cellulose ether is an important component of self-leveling mortar, which can improve its fluidity and workability. The polymer imparts viscosity and water retention properties, allowing the mortar to maintain its desired consistency and self-leveling properties.
2. Minimize shrinkage and cracking.

The redispersible emulsion powder can gather on the surface of hydrated and unhydrated products, reducing the internal friction of the mortar, and the surfactant it contains introduces a large number of tiny bubbles in the newly mixed mortar, playing a ball lubrication role, thereby improving the fluidity of the mortar
The affinity of the protective colloid to water when dispersed and the subsequent viscosity improve the cohesion of the mortar, thus improving the workability and self-healing of the mortar
2. Improve folding ratio and crack resistance.
Part of the polymer particles of the redispersible latex powder are deposited on the hydrated product and the unhydrated cement particles, and part of the polymer particles gather in the capillary pores. When the moisture is further reduced by hydration or drying of the cement, the polymer particles gradually condense to form a film, which has a high deformation ability. The interpenetrating network between the hydration products and the aggregate is formed, the pores between the hydration products are filled, the micro-cracks on the interface between the aggregate and the cement slurry are reduced, and the bonding strength and cracking resistance of the mortar are improved.
3. Improve bond strength and wear resistance.
In the hydration process, the emulsion powder can be redispersed to form a flocculation-like network structure to increase the toughness of the mortar, thus improving the bonding property. In addition, during the hydration process, a layer of cement phase and polymer film are enriched on the surface of the self-leveling mortar, resulting in a smooth and hard surface, thus improving the wear resistance.
4. Improve crack resistance, impact resistance, adhesion and wear resistance.
The redispersible emulsion powder and hydration products interweave with each other to form a more dense structure, so as to improve the cracking resistance, impact resistance, bonding property and wear resistance of cement-based self-leveling mortar.
